At 3.30pm today, 20th February 2011, I completed the first draft of my first novel.
I’ve written it in four-and-a-bit months.
I can’t start to tell you how in awe of myself I am right now.

You made it, and from the way you described your journey I think you can give yourself a healthy slap on the back. To work a day-job and raise a child while writing a novel in four months is just amazing. Well done.
